LIVE YOUR YOGA - 8 Week Online Course with ROBYN LOVE
LIVE YOUR YOGA with Robyn Love
This is an eight week course on Monday evenings. The course begins on September 24th and runs until November 19th, with no October 8th class (Thanksgiving Weekend).
Live Your Yoga
Most of us know that yoga is more than just physical postures but what is it, exactly? And how can yoga be useful in our everyday life off the mat? Using Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra as the basis for conversation and exploration, we will delve into the questions that most of us have at one time or another – how can I bring more happiness into my life? Am I on the right path? How can I better relate to my partner? Why am I stuck in a cycle of blaming others? And more – each participant is encouraged to bring their own personal questions and issues to class.
Although the Yoga Sutra was written over 1500 years ago, the wisdom teaching that it offers is alive and well in 2018. In this eight-week, online series, we will take up some of our most persistent questions and look at them through the lens of yoga. Be ready to examine your habits of mind and body and expect to be surprised and challenged!
This course is open to all and does not require any previous experience with yoga. Classes will be recorded so you will be able to listen later if you miss a class. (and add those last bits with practical information)
Each class will be 1.5 hours long and include lecture, discussion and ample time for questions. It will be held live online on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. NST. You will receive an invite to join an hour ahead of the start of class. Each class will be recorded so you will be able to watch it again later or view it if you need to miss it live. Information about accessing the recordings will be shared once you register. Class size will be limited to 25.
